Dereham Wanderers Blues U10 entertained Morley in a top of the table clash. The game was played in a very sporting manner and towards the end was extremely nail biting. Morley began the game the stronger team and deservedly took the lead. Dereham however fought back well and equalized when the ball deflected off a Morley player into the net. Both teams then had opportunities to add to the score sheet but for 20 minutes the score remained level. Morley subsequently began to apply pressure on the Wanderer’s defence which paid off when from a corner they went ahead. As the game was nearing its end Dereham once again equalized with a superb strike from just outside the penalty box.
