Dereham Wanderers Blues U10 maintained their top spot in the league with a comfortable win over Thetford Indies. The squad included, Billy Van Der Sar, Byron, Jordan, Ben, Reece, Josh B, Sam and Liam. Adam was unfortunately unable to play due to having an operation earlier in the week; we all wish him a speedy recovery. Early on in the game, both sides found it hard to break the other down. The deadlock was however broken when an Indies player attempted to clear the ball which struck a Dereham player and rebounded into the net. Dereham from that moment onwards never looked back. Throughout the game they dominated possession with some excellent passing and running off the ball. Dereham went on to score another four goals whilst the Indies did manage one consolation goal towards the end. The win leaves Dereham still top of their league with just 3 games remaining.
